Reducing Administrative Barriers to Business

In the region, work is constantly being carried out to reduce administrative barriers and create favorable conditions for doing business. In order to support and protect private entrepreneurship, including the elimination of administrative barriers, there are 19 expert councils on entrepreneurship in the region. In total, 88 meetings were held in 2017, where 85 regulatory acts related to the interests of entrepreneurship were reviewed. Among the measures aimed at improving the business climate and supporting small and medium-sized businesses, should be noted the simplification of administrative procedures and permits.
Also in 2017, the Commission on the Issues of Entrepreneurship was established under the akimat of the Karaganda region. As a result of her work for business, the issues of tariff rates (for water services of legal entities in the city of Karaganda) and in the field of public procurement were resolved.
The number of inspections in 2017 decreased by 20% compared to last year, and in 2018 it is planned to decline to 30%.
In 2017, in Karaganda, according to the “one-stop” principle, a full-format Center for business services was opened.
An electronic map of free land plots and a map of vacant premises of large enterprises were created and placed in open access on the websites of akimats and offices.
